A total of 135 students are currently enrolled, following the selection process held on September 23, 2025, distributed across two specializations:

  • Primary Education Teacher – Arabic Language, with 93 students divided into three groups.
  • Primary Education Teacher – French Language, with 42 students divided into two groups.

These students are supervised by 20 instructors who deliver rich and diverse scientific, literary, and linguistic content in accordance with the curriculum established by the competent ministry, in addition to 14 instructors specializing in the French language.

The university, through all its structures and resources—along with the Unit’s administration and the dedicated teaching staff—strives to provide high-quality scientific and pedagogical training that respects the specific profile of the student-teacher and meets the cognitive and educational challenges that have become a vital and unavoidable necessity in today’s world.

It is a great pleasure to address you today as part of our continuous efforts to advance the Faculty of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences, and to make it a driving force and beacon for knowledge, science, and scholars. This mission aligns with the strategic transformations targeted by the higher education and scientific research sector in Algeria, in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

										The Department of Mathematics is one of the eight major departments at the college. Initially, it was affiliated with the Department of Computer Science.


Specialization was offered in the second year for students interested in mathematics. In 2023, it was completely separated from the Department of Media by ministerial decree.


The department includes 35 professors and 108 students, ranging from bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
