The Institute of Nature and Life Sciences (ISNV) was created in 2001 by executive decree n ° 01-277 of September 18, 2001 establishing the university center of Khenchela, modified and supplemented by executive decree n ° 06-281 of August 16, 2006. This Institute became, in June 2012, The Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences (FSNV) (Executive Decree No. 12-246 of June 4, 2012 establishing the University of Khenchela).

Dear students, On behalf of all the teaching and administrative staff, and on my own, I welcome you to the new website of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences of the University Abbes Laghrour de Khenchela. Hoping that it will meet your expectations, I am happy and very honored to briefly introduce the Faculty to you.
Finally, we wish every success to all the students of our faculty and assure them of an unwavering support from the administrative staff who will always listen to their concerns. Since its creation as an Institute of Natural Sciences and Life in 2001, then as a Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, in 2012, the latter has always tried to play an important role within the University of Khenchela, by offering quality training and level research in many fields including biological sciences, agricultural sciences, and environmental sciences allowing students in the near future to respond to the concerns and requirements of society and the region.
