Announcement regarding the opening of applications for scholarships in South Korea (KOICA – CIAT) for the academic year 2026/2027, specifically for administrative staff.


We hereby inform you that applications are now open for scholarships offered under the Korean Cooperation Program (KOICA – CIAT) to pursue studies at South Korean universities during the academic year 2026–2027, specifically for administrative staff.


First: Master’s Degree Scholarships

The scholarships cover the following specializations:

  • Master in e-Government and Public Management

  • Master in Capacity Building for Climate Change and Environment

  • Master in Economic Development Policies for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth

  • Master in Health Policy and Health Financing Capacity Building

  • Master in Capacity Building in High-Value-Added Agriculture

  • Master in Global Fisheries Development

  • Master in Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

  • Master in Infectious Disease Control

  • Master in Digital Health


Second: Doctoral Degree Scholarships (PhD)

The scholarships cover the following specializations:

  • PhD in Global Fisheries Development

  • PhD in Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

  • PhD in Infectious Disease Control

  • PhD in Capacity Building in High-Value-Added Agriculture


Eligibility and Application Conditions

  • Only one candidate per scholarship may be proposed at the institutional level.

  • The candidate’s field of study must match the specialization of the applied scholarship.

  • Applications must be submitted exclusively via the application form available on the University Cooperation Platform.

  • Applications sent via email will not be accepted.


Application File

The application file must include the following documents:

  • The Application Form, duly filled out and signed.

  • A copy of the High School Baccalaureate transcript (grade sheet).

  • A certificate proving English language proficiency.

  • A copy of the first page of the passport.

  • For PhD applicants: Transcripts for all five years of the university academic track (Bachelor’s + Master’s).

  • For Master’s applicants: Transcripts for the three years of the Bachelor’s degree.

Note: The applicant’s university degree specialization must be consistent with the specialization of the scholarship for which they are applying.


Application Deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at noon (12:00 PM).
