Library introduction
The university library is a structure that contains a group of interests that serve the student, and each of these interests has a role to play, the most important of which is moving forward towards progress. These libraries differ from one library to another through the services they provide, in particular to the student. Perhaps among these libraries is the central library, whose officials have not been slow to offer their continuous efforts, out of their desire to provide the best for library patrons.

Origin Central Library
The Central Library of Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, was established with the establishment of the Khenchela University Center, pursuant to Executive Decree No. 01-278 of September 18, 2001. In its early days, it was a university annex affiliated with the University of Batna. The university’s central library is located in the university complex in Hamma, Oum El Bouaghi Road, approximately 600 meters from the university’s central administration. It covers an area of 900 square meters. It consists of four floors that include a group reading room and two individual reading rooms, in addition to a bibliographic research room, an internet room, a lending bank, and a warehouse. The central library is considered an important pedagogical pillar for students. Therefore, the university has attached great importance to it, as it is constantly supported, meaning that it has its own budget for each academic year, in order to acquire the latest references and books that are compatible with students’ pedagogical decisions, available in the Algerian market, whether from publishing houses or distributors at the national or international level.
