On April 29, 2026, at Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela, a strategic partnership was activated through the signing of a scientific cooperation agreement between the university, represented by its director, Professor Dr. Abdelwahed Challa, and the Algerian Academy of the Arabic Language, represented by Professor Dr. Cherif Meribai.
This agreement aims to leverage the pivotal role of the Academy as an academic institution specializing in interdisciplinary linguistic studies, and to open new avenues for research into the integration of the Arabic language with other sciences.
Under this protocol, both parties seek to exchange expertise and collaborate on scientific events of mutual interest.
An official reception was held for the visiting delegation in the university’s main hall, attended by university officials and a number of research staff, where future areas of cooperation were discussed before the official signing ceremony.
