International Cooperation Agreement with the University of Sfax, Tunisia  In line with the university’s policy of international engagement and its vision of building effective strategic partnerships that serve the community and development in various fields, On January 30, 2026, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, Rector of Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela, oversaw the signing of an international cooperation agreement with the University of Sfax, Tunisia, represented by its President, Professor Ahmed Hadj Kacem. This agreement aims to strengthen academic and scientific partnerships between the two universities and support the exchange and development of joint scientific research in various disciplines (science, engineering, medicine, law, arts, etc.). It includes several practical aspects, such as: Exchange of scientific visits and internships for faculty and students. Joint supervision of doctoral dissertations and research projects. Organization of joint scientific events and international conferences. Exchange of scientific output and academic publications. Signing of a Scientific Cooperation Agreement between Abbas Laghrour University and the Khenchela Bar Association Today, October 4, 2025, the Khenchela Bar Association, in cooperation with Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, organized a study day on the Algerian Code of Criminal Procedure – Law No. 25-14. Professors presented scientific papers on the various amendments to the aforementioned law and its new developments. In the context of strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, a scientific cooperation agreement was signed between Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, represented by the University President, Professor Abdelouahed Challa, and the Khenchela Bar Association, represented by the President of the Association, Professor Boumaiza Abdelghani. Cooperation Agreement with: Polytechnico University of Milan On 09-10 December 2024, a delegation from Abbas Laghrour University – Khenchela headed by the Rector of the University participated on 09-10 December 2024 Professor Abdul Wahed Chellah Dr. Mukhtar Faliq, Dean of the College of Natural and Life Sciences. Dr. Noureddine Bolgar is a Professor at the Department of Mechanics. In the presence of the Algerian Deputy Consul General in Milan In activating the cooperation agreement and discussing the Algerian-Italian project This program, if approved by the Algerian and Italian authorities, will be a very great and fruitful opportunity for the University of Khenchela as well as the wilaya of Khenchela, in all matters related to water management. From the Algerian side, three universities (the University of Annaba, the University of Biskra and the University of Houari Boumediene in Algiers) participated in this program, and #جامعة_خنشلة have the honor to chair this group.
