Within the framework of the cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research between the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, we are pleased to offer you a PhD scholarship at the University of Nouakchott Al-Asriya in Mauritania for the 2026-2027 academic year in the following disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Law, Economics, Management Sciences, Geography, Arabic Literature, History Regarding the benefits provided by the university to scholarship recipients, these vary depending on the specialization and level, ranging between $30 and $50 per month. Transportation and accommodation services are available to Algerian students within the limits of the resources of the Mauritanian National Center for University Services. You are requested to nominate one student in each specialization currently enrolled in the second year of a Master’s program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The Vice-Rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, Promotion, Communication, and Scientific Events at Abbas Laghrour University of Khenchela informs all professors and researchers that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the opening of applications for the Research Fellowship Program (Visiting Researcher) within the framework of the Emir Abdelkader Chair at the University of Oxford. This program aims to promote scientific research and interdisciplinary studies related to the humanistic and civilizational thought of Emir Abdelkader, encourage scientific and intellectual exchange between Algerian researchers and international academic institutions, and support research projects in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and literature.  Eligible Categories and Disciplines: -Humanities -Social Sciences -Literature  Program Features: A preliminary list of ten (10) candidates will be selected.
