International Workshop: Modern Technology in Agriculture: Challenges and Opportunities – For Sustainable and Smart Agriculture

“Modern Technology in Agriculture: Challenges and Opportunities – For Sustainable and Smart Agriculture” is the title of the international workshop organized today by Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, Faculty of Science and Technology, and the Research Laboratory for Systems and Applications of Information and Communication Technology (SATIT), under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty. The workshop will continue over two consecutive days, October 27-28, 2025.
This international workshop will be led by a group of elite professors from international universities, research centers, and national graduate schools:
Dr. Adnan Al-Amrawi
Université d’Artois, France
Dr. Mohamed Ayman Labiod
Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), France
Dr. Haj Ahmed Abbas from the Center for Research in the Environment (CRE).
Dr. Noureddine Daghman from the National Higher School of Technology and Engineering (ENSTI).
This international workshop focuses on topics of major importance such as precision agriculture, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and the integration of renewable energy into modern agricultural systems.
