On January 30, 2026, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, Rector of Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela, oversaw the signing of an international cooperation agreement with the University of Sfax, Tunisia, represented by its President, Professor Ahmed Hadj Kacem.
This agreement aims to strengthen academic and scientific partnerships between the two universities and support the exchange and development of joint scientific research in various disciplines (science, engineering, medicine, law, arts, etc.). It includes several practical aspects, such as:
Exchange of scientific visits and internships for faculty and students.
Joint supervision of doctoral dissertations and research projects.
Organization of joint scientific events and international conferences.
Exchange of scientific output and academic publications.
This international cooperation aims to enhance the university’s academic and scientific performance and strengthen its international presence.
