Abbes Laghrour Khenchela University

At the heart of the Aurès massifs, the University of KHENCHELA presents an innovative multidisciplinary project. The university has now more than 18,000 students, 705 lecturers and 500 administrative and technical staff, spread over six faculties: faculty of science and technology, faculty of social and human sciences, faculty of economics, commercial and management sciences, faculty of natural and life sciences, faculty of letters and languages, and the faculty of law and political science. From an annex of BATNA University at 1999, passing through the status of university center from 2001 to 2012, and since promoted to the rank of universities, it bears the name of Chahid Abbés Laghrour, symbol of the revolution In the region. The university offers through its faculties 41 bachelor degrees, 46 masters and several doctoral formations backed by 9 approved research laboratories.
