– What is CATI:

It is a partnership between Abbas Laghrour University Khenchela and the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI), the national body in Algeria responsible for the protection and promotion of industrial property, including patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and geographical information. CATI plays a key role in the relationship between INAPI, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and Abbas Laghrour University Khenchela. It was created on June 21, 2022. During the 2022-2023 academic year, 22 patent applications were registered, while in 2023-2024, 25 patent applications were registered.
