Studies system
: The LMD system – License, Master, Doctorate – is based on three training cycles, each sanctioned by a university diploma: 1. First cycle: baccalaureate +3, attesting to a license 2. Second cycle: bac+5 attesting to a master’s degree 3. Third cycle: baccalaureate +8, attesting to a doctorate
The system aims to clarify the degrees and specializations while creating harmony in university tracks. It allows for the comparison of the procedures and contents of the training at the national and international level, with the control of the major principles of the training, represented in: • The compatibility of the higher education system with the rest of the training systems in the world. • Suggesting various training paths and adapting them to economic needs. • Facilitating the movement of students and directing them. • Appreciating students’ self-work. • Installing procedures to accompany students in their work. • Valuing the acquisitions and facilitating their transfer • Developing formation through the various stages of life, in addition to the initial formation.

Education in each semester, starting from the first year, is organized into educational units as follows
- Basic educational units consisting of one or more basic subjects for a branch (basic subjects)
- The horizontal education unit consists of general cultural subjects (languages, …..)
- • Methodological teaching units, made up of subjects that provide tools that help the student to facilitate his training path.
- A certain number of credits reward teaching units, which the student can, if he obtains them, keep, even in the transfer event. One credit is equivalent to one lesson per week throughout the semester, Which is between 18 and 22.50 hours of student work in a subject
- A Discovery teaching unit, made up of the specialty external supports but linked to it, allows the student to discover himself and change orientation, and on the other hand, allows the student to discover the intersection between his specialty and the other specialties.
- The number of credits for the total units of the semester is limited to 30 credits.
