The application file must consist of:
– A written application,
– A curriculum vitae with documents relating to the candidate’s academic and pedagogical work, including a copy of his doctoral thesis and published scientific works, as well as papers, books, manuals, educational publications, and patents filed,
– A report on the educational and supervisory activities, experience, and evaluations completed after obtaining his doctorate.
The application file must also include a summary of the candidate’s academic and pedagogical work, written in the national language and in either French or English.

Duties of the Research Professor According to Executive Decree No. 08-130 of May 3, 2008, which includes the basic law for Research Professors, as amended and supplemented by Executive Decree No. 24-103 of March 7, 2024
• The higher education professor is responsible for the following:
– Ensuring teaching in the form of lessons according to the number of hours stipulated in Article 6 of this decree.
– Preparing and updating his lessons,
– Preparing publications, books, and any other pedagogical document.
– Ensuring the smooth running of the examinations he is assigned.
– Participating in the deliberations of examination committees, preparing topics, and correcting examination papers.
– Participating in the work of his group and/or pedagogical committee.
– Ensuring the supervision of assistant professors in preparing and updating directed and practical work.
– Ensuring the supervision of pedagogical training for trainee professors.
– Ensuring pedagogical conception and expertise activities in the areas of preparing the educational program, developing new training formats, and evaluating programs and courses.
– Receiving students for three (3) hours per week for advice and guidance.
– Providing lectures, seminars, and workshops at the doctoral level.
– Assessing and monitoring students’ knowledge.
– Supervising exams.
– Supervising end-of-study projects and fieldwork.
– Contributing to improving pedagogical curricula.
– Contributing to the development of research and innovation and the valorization of their results.
– Contributing to promoting the entrepreneurial spirit within the university community.
– Supporting and supervising students with innovative and entrepreneurial projects.
– Supporting their institutions in establishing subsidiary institutions of an economic nature (study offices, start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.).
