A glimpse of the participation of the Rector of Abbes Laghrour University of Khenchela, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, on April 28, 2026, in the second edition of the Cross-Border Hackathon, hosted by Batna 2 University from April 28 to 30, 2026. The event, which brought together participants from Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya, aimed to promote innovation and regional cooperation in modern technologies.
The first day of the event included the opening ceremony, followed immediately by practical and training workshops for participants from various universities. These participants, divided into 12 teams, including one from the University Khenchela, competed to develop innovative digital solutions, particularly in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable development.
During the event, a cooperation and partnership agreement was signed between Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela and Batna 2 University to strengthen academic collaboration and develop partnerships in scientific research, training, and innovation.
