Commemorating World Wetlands Day
To mark World Wetlands Day, observed annually on February 2nd, the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, under the supervision of the Dean and through its Biotechnology: Water, Environment, and Health Laboratory, organized a scientific day on wetlands, chaired by Dr. Berkane Cherifa.
This scientific day saw the participation of a select group of professors from the University of Khenchela and the University of Batna 2, in addition to a representative from the Khenchela Forestry Department.
The day’s activities were further enhanced by a scientific field trip to several wetlands in the municipality of El Mahmel, Khenchela, organized in coordination with the Forestry Department. The aim of this trip was to enable students to connect theoretical concepts with practical application.
