Announcement of the Opening of Nominations
UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev Prize in Basic Sciences (4th Cycle)
The University of Khenchela announces the opening of nominations for the fourth cycle of the UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev Prize in Basic Sciences.
This international prize, established in 2019 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), is one of the most prestigious awards dedicated to honoring excellence in the fields of basic sciences, particularly:
🔹 Chemistry
🔹 Physics
🔹 Mathematics
🔹 Biology
The prize aims to reward outstanding scientific achievements that contribute to the development, dissemination, and promotion of international cooperation in the field of basic sciences.
🏆 Prize Amount
The prize will be awarded to two (2) winners, with each winner receiving US$250,000.
📅 Application Deadlines
Applications must be submitted through the National Commission for UNESCO:
🔸 The deadline for registration via the UNESCO platform is March 15, 2026.
