Science Day A week brimming with student activities was organized by various university clubs under the supervision of the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, in celebration of Knowledge Day. The university hosted a series of events both on and off campus, with active student participation, including: A student competition in innovation and entrepreneurship, organized by the Insightful Minds Club, with the participation of the head of the Khenchela University Business Incubator. A field trip organized by the Creative Pen Club, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, aimed at motivating and guiding high school seniors. In the same vein, Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela welcomed students from the Martyr Zeroual Larbi Primary School. They embarked on an exploratory tour of various educational facilities, including the main lecture hall, the Faculty of Arts and Languages, the annex of the Faculty of Medicine, and the Artificial Intelligence Center, in an inspiring educational experience for future generations. The Pioneers Club and the Creative Pen Club also organized a training course in tourism guidance for students, facilitated by the Melbon Travel and Tourism Agency in Khenchela. Additionally, the heads of the scientific clubs, accompanied by the Deputy Director of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, participated in a meeting broadcast on Khenchela Regional Radio to discuss student life and the role of clubs in enhancing the university’s dynamism and vitality....اقرأ أكثر

 Advanced Cyber Espionage Operation – “CamalClone” Malware Pursuant to the ministerial telegram dated April 9, 2026, as well as the correspondence from the services of Khenchela Province regarding the detection of a malicious and dangerous electronic program targeting Algerian institutions, named “CamalClone”. This program spreads through fraudulent phishing campaigns via email, by sending messages containing malicious files or links that impersonate official state institutions, including the use of logos and identity of the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning, and City Development, in order to mislead recipients and infiltrate their information systems, thereby enabling unauthorized access to and theft of data and documents. Scientific Outing No. 02 for Faculty and Students: Strengthening University-Community Relations “City Evenings” – First Edition  “Features of the Revolution in Algerian Theater” with Dr. Abdelhamid Khatala, General Supervisor of the Theater Club at Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela. Cultural Event: “Book Forum” – Edition 54 In a distinguished cultural atmosphere filled with creativity and celebrating the purposeful word, the Faculty of Letters and Languages organized a scientific and cultural outing in coordination with the Main Public Reading Library of Khenchela Province. The event, titled “City Evenings” for the year 2026, was attended by a select group of professors, writers, students interested in cultural affairs, and representatives of the media.  Opening of the Evening The evening began with the national anthem, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the late former President Liamine Zéroual. Mr. Majid Boudiar, Director of the Main Library, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing that the “City Evenings” program is a qualitative addition to the local cultural scene. He noted that it will be organized periodically every three months to serve as an open space for dialogue and intellectual exchange.  Theme of the Evening This first edition was titled “Features of the Revolution in Algerian Theater.” Dr. Khatala Abdelhamid from the University of Khenchela presented a valuable lecture discussing the dimensions of the Algerian Revolution’s presence in theatrical works, highlighting the role of theater in documenting national memory and enhancing historical awareness. The session was professionally moderated by writer and journalist Chadli Khalil, whose dynamic approach encouraged rich discussions and reflected the high level of cultural awareness among the attendees.  Discussions and Literary Readings The evening also featured various literary readings performed by Chaima Bouaoun, Bashir Aouaidjia, and Amara Roumi.
