🔹 As part of an academic visit to the People’s Republic of China, Professor Abdelouahed Challa, Rector of Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela, signed a Framework Agreement for Cooperation today, November 5, 2026, with Weifang University, located in Shandong Province.
🔹 The agreement aims to foster academic and scientific cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise in fields such as renewable energy, agricultural sciences, and aquaculture. It also explores potential collaboration regarding the teaching of the Chinese language in Algeria and the Arabic language in China.
🔹 Furthermore, the agreement provides opportunities for the mobility of students, faculty, and staff between the two institutions. It also encourages the development of joint research across various disciplines of mutual interest, thereby broadening the scope of academic and scientific partnership and enhancing the university’s international engagement.
