As part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation in higher education and scientific research, and to implement academic exchange programs between Algeria and the People’s Republic of China, Abbas Laghrour University – Khenchela informs the university community—particularly students wishing to pursue postgraduate studies abroad—of a scholarship offer from the Chinese Government for the 2027–2028 academic year.
The offer consists of 30 scholarships for Algerian students to pursue doctoral studies at Chinese universities and institutes. Please note that international travel expenses are not covered.
Application Requirements and Procedures:
- Applicants must register in accordance with the instructions and eligibility criteria specified in the attached document.
- Applicants must contact the relevant Chinese universities in advance to secure preliminary admission.
- Applicants must submit proof of preliminary admission from at least one Chinese university.
- For students intending to study in the Chinese language, a certificate of proficiency in Chinese (HSK Level 4) is required.
