The Law Department at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, is one of the most significant departments within the faculty. This is due to the large number of students enrolling each academic year, exceeding 2,500 students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The department offers programs in Public Law and Private Law, in addition to four master’s specializations: Administrative Law, Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences, State and Institutions, Advanced Private Law
The department is supported by a faculty of 80 specialized professors.
The high demand for the Law Department is driven by students’ aspirations to pursue careers in key and sensitive fields such as judiciary, legal practice, notary services, judicial enforcement, and various administrative sectors.
