Department head’s speech

Dear students, esteemed academic colleagues, and respected staff members,
It is my great honor to be part of the administrative team at the Faculty of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences at Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela. I warmly welcome you all to the Department of Commercial Sciences, where we always strive for academic excellence and actively contribute to the development of a generation of professionals capable of engaging with the growing challenges in the fields of business and economics.
Our department was established with the aim of providing high-quality academic education in various fields such as business management, marketing, and finance. We believe that commercial sciences are not just the study of theoretical concepts, but rather a continuous learning journey that relies on developing practical skills and business thinking.
By providing an educational environment that encourages research and innovation, our department focuses on developing students’ abilities and equipping them with the necessary tools to think strategically and make well-informed decisions in line with the rapid changes in national labor markets.
At the Department of Commercial Sciences, we are committed to offering outstanding academic programs, in addition to practical training opportunities and interaction with entrepreneurs and major companies, to broaden the knowledge and practical experience of our students.
The Department of Commercial Sciences is one of the departments that has contributed to producing qualified human resources to serve national development in the fields of economics, management, and commerce.
In the academic Bachelor’s program, students are trained in the second year according to the educational program for the second year of the Bachelor in Commercial Sciences. After completing this stage, students can easily choose the specialization in “Marketing.” Upon obtaining the Bachelor’s degree, this qualification allows students to apply for enrollment in the Master’s program in Service Marketing, which, after completing the Master’s, enables students to compete in doctoral training competitions within the commercial sciences field.
I urge all students to make the most of these opportunities and to always be ambitious and determined to succeed. We are here to support you in your academic and professional journey.
