The Department of Human Sciences is the second academic branch of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Khenchela, alongside the Department of Social Sciences. It is dedicated to providing university-level education in the field of human sciences through a diversified academic offering that spans undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
The department offers two main academic tracks: Information and Communication Sciences, and History. It also provides doctoral training in two distinct specializations within the field of History. Through this variety, the department seeks to deliver a rigorous scientific education that blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling students to develop their skills and competencies in a way that facilitates their integration into the labor market and supports societal development.
The department’s teaching is delivered by a team of 40 faculty members during the current academic year, who are committed to ensuring the quality of education and fostering a learning environment that encourages research and innovation at all levels.
