Speech by the Dean

Our college is one of six colleges that make up Khenchela University, consisting of two departments: the Department of Social Sciences and the Department of Humanities. We provide education in five different branches, through which we strive for excellence and quality assurance in our educational and research services and in community service. This is so that our outputs are distinguished and in line with the requirements of the local and international market, on the one hand, and on the other hand, so that we contribute to achieving the university’s mission and vision, which is based primarily on achieving quality and excellence in the field of education, scientific research, and community service. We are keen to maintain a strong and effective presence as a key party in the university’s relationship with its socio-economic environment, by establishing scientific and cultural cooperation and partnerships with various institutions and sectors outside the university within the framework of a series of cooperation agreements signed by the university administration. Our most important challenges are to effectively participate in the university’s social responsibility in its three main aspects: ensuring a high academic level for our students, enabling them to easily integrate into the job market, whether by contributing to their own job creation or obtaining suitable positions in various sectors; a high-level of research, the results of which enable them to respond to the various needs of society and contribute to finding solutions to its various problems; and contributing to the economic service of society through participation in comprehensive and sustainable development.
