Scientific work focuses ona multidisciplinary contribution in the synthesis of new Complexes, their characterizations, modeling and the structure-properties correlation., the nature of the compounds synthesized or studied suggests interesting biological, optical or magnetic properties.Organometallic chemistry, which combines metals via organic ligands to form materials with interesting biological, magnetic and optical properties, offers a wide range of systems ranging from 3D systems to clusters. As it has been proven that antimicrobial compounds based on metal ion complexes in which the metal ions will be coordinated to bioactive molecules such as antibiotics or amino acids have higher antibacterial activities than non-complexed antimicrobials.
