Today, June 9, 2025, Abbas Laghrour University in Khenchela, in cooperation with the National Higher School of Forestry in Khenchela, organized a training session on the Ibtikar program. The session, which ran from June 9 to 12, 2025, was held under the auspices of the Directorate of University Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the European Union Office in Algeria.
This session was attended by professors representing 43 universities in the Oriental region. Ms. Chadar Samira, Deputy Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry, provided comprehensive explanations of the program, its objectives, and the potential benefits it offers. Mr. Mohamed Boudour, Director of the Erasmus+ Algeria Office, also presented the program’s themes and the various projects that Algerian universities can incorporate into the program to benefit from support and funding. Two European Union experts, Ms. Khamkhem Samira and Mr. Cazala Julien from the Sorbonne University in France, also attended the session.
