A Scientific Lecture in Celebration of World Arabic Language Day

 

On December 15, 2025, the University Rector, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, welcomed Professor Habib Mounsi, who was a guest of the university at the invitation of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, to deliver a scientific lecture in celebration of World Arabic Language Day.

The main lecture hall hosted this academic event, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages ​​and the Head of the Higher Teacher Training Center, and in the presence of a select group of professors and students. Professor Mounsi presented a valuable lecture entitled:

“Arabic, Mother of Languages… Towards a New Theory of the Origins of the Arabic Language.” The lecture garnered significant attention and sparked an in-depth scholarly discussion on the issues and origins of the Arabic language.

The event concluded with a cultural activity organized by students of the Higher Teacher Training Center to celebrate this occasion. Professor Mounsi was also honored in recognition of his scholarly contributions and valuable knowledge in the field of linguistic studies.
