Management is a set of operations and decisions aimed at organizing and directing an institution’s activities to achieve predefined objectives. The Department of Management Sciences is structurally part of the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Management Sciences at Abbes Laghrour University – Khenchela. The department includes a management science major with a specialty in business management at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The primary objectives of the Department of Management Sciences are: To train students specializing in management, holding bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees with high qualifications. To develop scientific capacity and implement a quality system in higher education, training national executives capable of accessing the job market and contributing to the country’s economic development. The department’s collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Center and the incubator to organize regular meetings with students to raise awareness about creating startups and micro-enterprises based on their specialty. The Faculty of Law and Political Science at Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, follows the ministry’s directives by implementing instructions and striving to keep pace with developments, in line with the goals of sustainable development and the ministry’s strategic requirements. This includes the adoption of digitization, the establishment of startups, and ensuring harmony between the socio-social environment and available economic resources. The faculty consists of two departments: the Department of Law and the Department of Political Science. Each department offers various academic pathways from the first cycle of training under the LMD system to the third cycle within the same framework. Throughout its pedagogical journey, the faculty has produced numerous graduating classes specializing in various disciplines, aligned with its strategic development phases. Many graduates have successfully integrated into professional and career life, meeting labor market demands with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Looking ahead, the faculty aspires to enhance its training programs by increasing the number of master’s specializations, ensuring they align with the ministry’s policies and the country’s economic needs. It also seeks to improve the quality of training programs, research, and offer new academic opportunities in collaboration with economic actors. Moreover, the faculty aims to expand its external relations by signing numerous international and national agreements. With its dedicated staff, the faculty is committed to developing well-trained human resources in accordance with the learning and teaching outcomes that align with the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. In light of the university administration’s directives and its institutional project objectives, the faculty administration is committed to adopting modern teaching methods starting from the 2024-2025 academic year. This includes integrating digitization in all administrative, research, and pedagogical activities of the faculty and its two departments to enhance the university’s visibility in academic rankings.
