National University Basketball Championship – Regional Championship – Eastern Region 01
As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s program to promote university sports and foster a culture of competition among students, Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela hosted the National University Basketball Championship – Regional Championship – Eastern Region 01 yesterday. Four (4) university campuses participated:
Setif University Campus (male and female students)
Batna University Campus (male and female students)
Jijel University Campus (male students)
Khenchela University Campus (host city) (male students)
The championship was characterized by a highly competitive atmosphere, marked by excellent sportsmanship and discipline. The participating students demonstrated a commendable level of skill, reflecting the growing interest in university sports and its role in honing students’ skills and developing their teamwork.
The results were as follows:
Setif University Campus qualified in the men’s category.
Batna University Campus qualified in the women’s category.
At the conclusion of the competition; The winning teams and participants were honored, with emphasis placed on the importance of continuing to support such events that promote sports activity within the university and contribute to discovering and developing student talent.
