In commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the War of Independence, the department has organized a historical and cultural program designed to strengthen national memory and foster a sense of belonging and pride in Algeria’s glorious history among the university community.
The program includes:
📸 A historical photo exhibition documenting key milestones in the Algerian people’s struggle and the sacrifices made by the heroes of the War of Independence.
🧠 A history-themed competition aimed at expanding students’ historical knowledge.
♟️ A chess tournament to promote a culture of fair competition among students.
🔬 An “open house” event for the faculty’s scientific clubs, showcasing their activities and encouraging students to engage in university life and pursue scientific and cultural creativity.
These initiatives reflect the department’s commitment to observing national occasions and connecting younger generations with the history of their homeland.
