We are organizing an Open Day event on Sunday, April 20th, open to all university students. It includes hands-on tech workshops and a competition with prizes — with no prior experience required. Regional qualifying events for handball (male – female) East
On April 8, 2026, Abbas Laghrour University in Khenchela hosted the regional handball qualifiers for the Eastern Region (men’s and women’s categories). The event was held under the supervision of the University Rector and organized by the Provincial University Sports League and the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, in coordination with the Directorate of Youth and Sports and the Provincial Handball League. Five university cities participated: Mila, Constantine, Oum El Bouaghi, Annaba, and Jijel. The competition took place at the multi-sports hall in Bazza Laroussi, Khenchela, under excellent organization and in a spirited, competitive atmosphere, reinforcing the values of sportsmanship. The qualifiers concluded with the Constantine University City team qualifying in the men’s category and the Jijel University City team qualifying in the women’s category. “Ramadan of Achievement in Commemoration of Pride” Competition 📜✨ In an atmosphere brimming with patriotism and faith, our three science clubs (GeekDZ Club, the English-Language Scientific Presentations Club, and the Computer Science Club) commemorated Victory Day during Ramadan with a unique intellectual competition on Monday, March 16, 2026. Highlights of the event: Innovation: The competition transitioned from traditional methods to full digitization via a dedicated website, brilliantly developed by student Sghiri Iyad. Participation: The competition was characterized by a strong team spirit among the organizing science clubs and the active participation of students from all departments within the college. Dans le cadre d’une initiative témoignant de l’engagement de l’administration de la faculté à encourager l’excellence scientifique et la réussite scolaire, la professeure Hanachi Bouzid, directrice du département des sciences et technologies, a personnellement présidé aujourd’hui la cérémonie de remise des prix aux meilleurs étudiants de première année en sciences et technologies.
