Within the framework of the cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research between the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, we are pleased to offer you a PhD scholarship at the University of Nouakchott Al-Asriya in Mauritania for the 2026-2027 academic year in the following disciplines:
Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Law, Economics, Management Sciences, Geography, Arabic Literature, History
Regarding the benefits provided by the university to scholarship recipients, these vary depending on the specialization and level, ranging between $30 and $50 per month. Transportation and accommodation services are available to Algerian students within the limits of the resources of the Mauritanian National Center for University Services.
You are requested to nominate one student in each specialization currently enrolled in the second year of a Master’s program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
The application file must include:
-Baccalaureate transcript
-Copies of transcripts for the first four years
-Copy of Bachelor’s degree certificate (students from higher education institutions are not eligible)
-School transcripts for all five years
-Rank certificate (form to be folded)
-Five-star certificate (form to be folded)
-Doctoral dissertation proposal
-Copy of the first page of the passport
-Copy of the Master’s degree certificate (to be transferred upon graduation)
