At the level of the Annex of the Faculty of Medicine, the Library of the National Office of University Publications at Abbes Laghrour University of Khenchela organized, on February 10, 2026, under the supervision of the University Rector and in coordination with the Annex Coordinator, a book exhibition for the benefit of the faculty’s students, enabling them to explore specialized scholarly production in medical sciences. Introduction of new digital platforms at the University of Khenchela

Report of the local committee meeting on promoting visibility, ranking, and digitizationDate: January 13, 2026 Within the framework of periodic meetings dedicated to monitoring digitization files and enhancing the university’s global ranking, the following agenda points were addressed and discussed: Google Scholar Ranking: Receiving updated lists from the various faculties and forwarding them to Ms. “Bediaf Leila” to complete the annual report for 2025. International Rankings: Analysis and discussion of data related to the global “QS” university rankings. Sectoral Statistics: Presentation of detailed digital data for each faculty (number of students, faculty members, and administrative staff). Human Resources Digitization: Monitoring the process of linking employee data to their dedicated digital platform, and evaluating the pace of electronic issuance of salary certificates. E-Learning (Moodle): Providing statistical presentation on the activity and usage of the “Moodle” platform. Activation of the Absence Platform: Completion of remaining data entry for the faculties. Preparation of student and faculty lists (in Arabic and French) and allocation of groups and classrooms to ensure the platform’s effective launch. Deliberation Platform: Emphasis on the necessity of including exam grades within the digital deliberation minutes platform. Awarness day on breast cancer

October 16, 2025, the Medical Annex and the Med Inspire club, in collaboration with the Sub-directorate for Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities, the Preventive Medicine Unit at Abbas Laghrour University – Khenchela, and in coordination with Al Balsam Ech-Chafi Clinic, organized an Awareness Day on Breast Cancer. During this day, lectures were delivered by doctors and university professors, all focusing on understanding the disease, the importance of early detection, and prevention methods. The event was supervised by the University Rector and the Head of the Medical Annex, Dr. Redouane Tekouacht, in the presence of the Vice-Rectors, Deans of Faculties, various university officials and staff, as well as teachers and students. Among the attendees were Dr. Rachid Lamhari, Dr. Slim Lachkheb, and midwife Aïcha Khalaf.
