More than one hundred participants—PhD students from various disciplines and faculty members—attended three main sessions: Opening session: the Dean’s welcome address emphasised the importance of keeping pace with digital transformations in academic research. First scientific session: a technical presentation by Dr. Ben Abbas on AI tools (Scite, Research Rabbit, Elicit) for literature mapping and identifying high-impact publication opportunities. Second scientific session: a hands-on paper demonstrating how to prepare a manuscript with AI writing assistants (Grammarly – Quillbot – Zotero) while complying with academic-integrity standards and Q1-Q2 journal requirements.
