The L’Oréal-UNESCO “For Women in Science” International Award is now open for applications for 2027.


The Vice-Rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, Promotion, Communication, and Scientific Events announces the opening of applications for the 2027 L’Oréal-UNESCO “For Women in Science” International Award.
This program, launched in 1998 by L’Oréal subsidiaries worldwide and supported by UNESCO offices, aims to recognize and support promising female researchers at the doctoral and postdoctoral levels, helping them pursue their research at both the national and international levels. It also aims to encourage and empower the next generation of women scientists who will contribute to shaping the future of scientific research.
The 2027 cycle will honor five (5) outstanding female researchers in the fields of :
  • Physical Sciences
  • Mathematics
  • Computer Science
Each winner will receive a financial prize of €100,000 in recognition of their scientific contributions in the aforementioned fields.
