Turning to Philosophy: Towards a New Critical University and Societal Thinking
On December 10, 2025, the Faculty of Arts and Languages, under the supervision of the Dean, and through the Laboratory of Contemporary Critical Imagination and Modernist Studies in Thought, Language, and Literature, organized the Second National Symposium on Turning to Philosophy: Towards a New Critical University and Societal Thinking, chaired by Dr. Khamissi Adami.
The symposium addressed the question of the reality of philosophy and its position in the university and society. All the scholarly contributions from professors and researchers participating in the symposium from various universities across the country highlighted the importance and necessity of philosophy in shaping thought patterns and managing life.
In parallel with the symposium proceedings, workshops were organized for students in the Higher Teacher Training Program, led by professors from secondary schools, focusing on the philosophy of education.
