In an effort to raise environmental awareness and promote a culture of environmental conservation, a tree-planting campaign was organized today, May 6, 2026, at Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela. This initiative was coordinated with the National Organization of Free Students, the Environment House, the Khenchela Forestry Department, and the Algerian Muslim Scouts.
The campaign saw significant participation from various members of the university community, including the University Rector, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, along with students and staff.
