Announcement for Candidacy for the Chinguitt Prize 2026
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that the Islamic Republic of Mauritania has opened applications for the Chinguitt Prize for the year 2026, to be held in Nouakchott to honor outstanding researchers in the following fields:

Islamic Studies

Science and Technology

Literature and Arts
The deadline for receiving application files from researchers wishing to participate in this prize is set for March 31, 2026. The results will be announced no later than October 31, 2026.
