Mathematics Day Under the auspices of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and sponsored and supervised by the Dean of the Faculty, the Laboratory of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (LMIA) organized a “Mathematics Day” on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, chaired by Dr. Hicham Ramoul. Day’s Activities: The day was distinguished by the participation of a select group of distinguished professors and researchers. The program included: A series of specialized scientific lectures in the field of mathematics and its applications. In-depth discussion sessions focusing on the latest developments and challenges in the field. An exchange of experiences and research ideas among the participants. Recommendations and Outcomes: Attendees emphasized the paramount importance of such scientific events in: Driving and developing scientific research in the field of mathematics. Elevating the academic level and enhancing interaction between experts and researchers. Creating an environment that stimulates creativity and innovation in fundamental and applied sciences.   Minutes of the Meeting for Discussing the Foundation Project A planning meeting to discuss the “Foundation Project”, aimed at enhancing integration and positive interaction between the university and its social and economic environment, was held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at one-thirty in the afternoon (13:30) at the Faculty of Science and Technology. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty professors. The discussion centered on the core of the project and its strategic objectives, which are: Linking university life with the external environment. Achieving a mutually beneficial exchange relationship: where the environment serves the university and the university serves the environment. Creating positive interactions and building fruitful partnerships. During the meeting, the eight foundational pillars of the project were reviewed and discussed. These pillars cover multiple areas such as applied research, technology transfer, continuous training, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. These pillars received positive and constructive engagement from the attendees, with an exchange of views and practical suggestions to enrich each pillar and ensure the project’s success in achieving its intended goals. The meeting concluded with the attendees emphasizing the paramount importance of this initiative and its pivotal role in enhancing the university’s position as a key developmental actor in its surroundings. This platform aims to simplify the procedures for obtaining the monthly payslip, enabling teachers and administrators to view their financial entitlements and request official documents easily and conveniently, from anywhere and at any time. Main services available on the platform: View Monthly Payslip: Each teacher and administrator can log into their personal account to view their detailed and secure payslip. Request Payslip: Ability to request an official copy of the payslip monthly or for previous periods as needed. Archive and Inquiry: Access to a historical record of previous salary certificates. Platform Features: Ease of Use: Simple and clear interface. Reliability and Security: Protected and private data. Time and Effort Saving: No need for waiting or travel. Support and Communication: Direct communication channels with the office for inquiries. How to access and benefit from the service: Teachers and administrators can visit the platform link via the official electronic portal of the Central Digitalization Office, or through the dedicated link that will be notified to them via official communication channels (email, internal pedagogical platform, etc.). Opportunités Erasmus+ 2026 1. Appel à projets pour établissements ­ À l’occasion du lancement de l’appel à projets Erasmus+ 2026, le Bureau National Erasmus+ Algérie invite les établissements d’enseignement supérieur, de recherche, de formation professionnelle et de jeunesse à soumettre leurs propositions pour les catégories suivantes : Projets de mobilité internationale: Mobilité académique (ICM), facilitant les échanges des étudiants et du personnel universitaire. Échanges virtuels, favorisant la collaboration numérique et l’apprentissage interactif. Échanges de jeunes, destinés à promouvoir le dialogue interculturel et l’engagement des jeunes. Projets de coopération: Projets de renforcement des capacités dans les domaines de l’enseignement supérieur (CBHE), de la formation professionnelle (CBVET) et de la jeunesse (CBY), pour soutenir le développement institutionnel et sectoriel. Formations Erasmus Mundus, incluant les Masters conjoints et les mesures de conception, visant à renforcer l’excellence académique. Activités Jean Monnet: Modules, Chaires, Centres d’excellence et Réseaux, dédiés à la promotion et à l’approfondissement des études européennes. Doté d’un budget de 5,2 milliards d’euros, l’appel Erasmus+ 2026 se veut encore plus ambitieux que son prédécesseur (appel 2025). Ce dernier a permis aux établissements algériens de décrocher près de 300 projets d’échanges, au bénéfice de centaines d’étudiants, d’enseignants et de personnels universitaires, ainsi que 6 projets de renforcement des capacités (CBHE, CBVET et CBY) et 2 projets d’échanges virtuels. Activities of the training course offered to second-year Master’s students, specializing in audiovisual studies

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a training course for second-year Master’s students specializing in Audiovisual Studies. The course focused on voice-over and the fundamentals of vocal performance. It was led by Professor Hossam Arar, Dr. Ghalia Ghadban, and Dr. Shahrazad Soufi. The course aimed to equip students with proper delivery techniques, control of articulation and breathing, and an understanding of professional voice elements such as rhythm, tone, accent, and vocal inflection. Students also learned about the requirements of working in the field of voice-over and how to produce high-quality audio recordings.
