Minutes of the Meeting for Discussing the Foundation Project

A planning meeting to discuss the “Foundation Project”, aimed at enhancing integration and positive interaction between the university and its social and economic environment, was held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at one-thirty in the afternoon (13:30) at the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty professors. The discussion centered on the core of the project and its strategic objectives, which are:

  • Linking university life with the external environment.

  • Achieving a mutually beneficial exchange relationship: where the environment serves the university and the university serves the environment.

  • Creating positive interactions and building fruitful partnerships.

During the meeting, the eight foundational pillars of the project were reviewed and discussed. These pillars cover multiple areas such as applied research, technology transfer, continuous training, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. These pillars received positive and constructive engagement from the attendees, with an exchange of views and practical suggestions to enrich each pillar and ensure the project’s success in achieving its intended goals.

The meeting concluded with the attendees emphasizing the paramount importance of this initiative and its pivotal role in enhancing the university’s position as a key developmental actor in its surroundings. There was an agreement to continue work and coordination to develop the project’s executive framework.
