Cultural Activity to Commemorate the 71st Anniversary of the Glorious November 1st RevolutionToday, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Faculty of Arts and Languages organized, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty and in coordination with the Faculty’s Activities Department, the Discourse Analysis Laboratory, and the Association of Plastic Arts, an activity to commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of the National Liberation Revolution.This cultural activity, organized by the Faculty of Arts and Languages on October 28, 2025, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, commemorated the seventy-first (71st) anniversary of the glorious November 1st Revolution. The event reflected the spirit of the national occasion through a display of a selection of artistic paintings, murals, and expressive and abstract artworks by artists and creators, who expressed the revolution’s heroism and timeless values with their brushes, in participation with professors, students, and art enthusiasts.During the event, participating artists were honored in recognition of their creativity and contribution to the success of the activity. Within the framework of the project to digitize the libraries of Abbes Laghrour University of Khenchela, today, October 26, 2025, the University President, Professor Abdelwahid Chalah, accompanied by the head of the central library, supervised the official launch of the training course organized for the university library staff (Training of Trainers), which is conducted by specialists from the Research Center in Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST) over five consecutive days. This training course is considered a strategic step to achieve a qualitative shift in the digitization and modernization of university libraries using the SYNGEB WEB software as a platform for managing libraries with the modern RFID system. Breast cancer awareness day Organized today, October 16, 2025; The Medical Attaché and the Med Inspire Club, in addition to the Sub-Directorate for Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities, in addition to the Preventive Medicine Unit at Abbas Lagrour Khenchela University, and in coordination with the Healing Balsam Clinic, held a awareness-raising day about breast cancer. During this day, lectures were given by doctors and university professors, all centered around introducing this disease and the importance of early detection and ways to prevent it. National Forum Activities Literary speech: from fairy-like delirium to historical commitment Literary speech: from fairy-like delirium to historical engagement. This is the topic of the national meeting organized today, October 13, 2025, by the Faculty of Arts and Languages; under the supervision of the Dean of the college and directed by Dr. Ashour Hambly. The meeting recognized various scientific contributions from professors and researchers from different Algerian universities, who discussed the dimensions of the literary word as a space that oscillates between wild imagination and fanciful creativity on one hand, and historical engagement and collective consciousness on the other; the professors who participated in the events of this meeting also examined the role of literature in fostering responsibility and stimulating social consciousness. Professors presented scientific papers on the various amendments to the aforementioned law and its new developments. In the context of strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, a scientific cooperation agreement was signed between Abbas Laghrour University, Khenchela, represented by the University President, Professor Abdelouahed Challa, and the Khenchela Bar Association, represented by the President of the Association, Professor Boumaiza Abdelghani.
