First Stop

This morning, December 7, 2025, the University Rector, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, along with members of the administration, warmly welcomed the university’s guest, the Algerian scientist Dr. Bachir Halimi, in an atmosphere of hospitality, appreciation, and respect. This reflects the guest’s stature and the scientific and symbolic value his presence holds for the university.

This visit is part of a scientific activity during which Dr. Bachir Halimi will deliver two lectures for professors and students. These lectures will highlight important and exceptional milestones and successful experiences in his career, and will take place in the university’s main lecture hall.

Second Stop

Under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Abdelwahed Challa; On December 7, 2025, Abbas Laghrour University of Khenchela organized a scientific event featuring the renowned Algerian scientist, Dr. Bachir Halimi, who delivered two lectures.

The first lecture was titled: “The Story of Computer Arabization.”

The second lecture was titled: “From Idea to Successful Company.” The event was well-attended by members of the university community, including professors, students, and administrators, as well as interested guests from the university’s socio-economic environment.

The lectures were followed by in-depth discussions and questions posed to Dr. Halimi, who responded to the audience’s inquiries, drawing on his extensive knowledge and successful field experience.

The event concluded with a symbolic tribute to Dr. Halimi by the university’s director, followed by a group photo commemorating this unique experience for Abbes Laghrour University  Khenchela, highlighting its commitment to community engagement and its success in attracting leading international figures in technology and scientific research.
