In commemoration of National Martyrs’ Day, observed on February 18th, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, Director of Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela, participated this morning in the ceremonies held under the auspices of the Governor of the province. The commemoration began at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Khenchela, where the flag was raised, the national anthem played, a wreath laid, and the opening chapter of the Quran (Al-Fatiha) recited in remembrance of the martyrs’ pure souls, in fulfillment of their pledge and in perpetuation of their sacrifices.
