“Official Launch of the Algerian Qualifications Framework and Adoption of Free Software in Higher Education” On Tuesday, 1 July 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, presided over two pivotal events at the Ministry’s headquarters during the opening of the National Universities Symposium: National Qualifications Framework: The inaugural Algerian Qualifications Framework (AQF) was launched – a standardized system designed to unify and classify skills and certifications across education and training pathways. Promotion of Free Software: Ministerial Decree No. 138 was formally ratified, defining the scope and implementation mechanisms for adopting free and open-source software across higher education and scientific research institutions. Contributors to the Success of the Closing Ceremony of the 2024/2025 Academic Year Under the patronage of the University Director and with the participation of the Secretary General, the university hosted an honorary ceremony on the evening of Wednesday, July 9, 2025, for the heroes behind the success of the closing ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year. The gathering brought together a constellation of dedicated staff members – administrators, technicians, and workers – who provided exceptional efforts across various university departments: the organization and logistical support teams, the heroes of general facilities and maintenance, the soldiers of cleanliness, the visual splendor committee, security personnel, and coordinators of cultural and student activities. The ceremony witnessed a distinguished attendance that included the Vice Directors, Deans of Faculties, and Heads of Departments. In a moving speech, the University Director praised the diligent efforts of the “unsung heroes” who wove the threads of success, honoring foremost among them the Secretary General for his wise guidance. Honoring the contributors to the success of the university year’s closing ceremony.2024/2025 This evening, July 9, 2025; the Director of the University and the Secretary General of the University are organizing a meeting to pay tribute to all contributors and activists in the success of the closing ceremony of the academic year for employees, administrative staff, and technicians of various interests: organization, public resources, maintenance and cleanliness, vision committee, security assistance, and activities of interest… This honorary meeting brought together the vice directors, the deans of the faculties, the heads of interests. In this context, the university director delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts of secret soldiers and all loyalists who contribute to the success of the ceremony.
