As part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement in higher education and scientific research between the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, we hereby inform you of a scholarship offer at the University of Nouakchott Al Asriya (Mauritania) for the PhD program for the academic year 2026-2027 in the following specializations: Biology Chemistry Geology Mathematics Computer Science Physics Law Economics Management Sciences Arabic Literature History We kindly request you to nominate one top-ranked student from the cohort (or the second if the first waives the scholarship, along with a waiver letter) for each specialization, enrolled in the second year of Master’s for the academic year 2025/2026, and send their application file to the Vice-Directorate of External Relations, along with the ranking report for each specialization, no later than Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The application file includes: Baccalaureate transcript Copy of transcripts for the first four years Copy of the Bachelor’s degree (students from higher normal schools are not concerned) School certificates for the five years Ranking certificate (attached form) “Five-star” certificate (attached form) PhD thesis proposal Copy of the first page of the passport Copy of the Master’s degree (to be submitted after graduation) Note: Regarding the benefits provided by the university to the scholarship recipient, they vary depending on the specialization and level, ranging from 30 to 50 US dollars per month.
