Annonce de la date des élections pour renouveler les organes académiques du collège

La Faculté des sciences et de la technologie annonce que la date pour les élections pour renouveler les organismes scientifiques des départements suivants: – Département de l’article – Département de génie civil – Le ministère de l’ingénierie mécanique aura lieu le mardi 01 juillet 2025 de 9 h à 14 h et demi après la disparition, au niveau des départements concernés. En ce qui concerne l’élection des représentants des professeurs adjoints au niveau collégial, le processus de sondage sera tiré le même jour (01 juillet 2025) au niveau du doyenne du doyen des études supérieures avec la participation de tous les professeurs adjoints au niveau de tous les départements. Note que le processus électoral a lieu sous la responsabilité directe des chefs de département des femmes et des messieurs en coordination avec leurs députés pour des études de troisième cycle. Sdg16: Peace, Justice And Strong Institutions

16.2University governance measures 16.2.1  Elected representation Have elected representation on the university’s highest governing body from: students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty, and staff (non-faculty employees)   YES ; In order for the University of Khenchela to implement elected representation in its highest administrative body, it required the establishment of formal structures to allow members of the university’s key stakeholders – students, faculty and staff – to participate in governance. Here is a summary of the steps taken into account to achieve this:  1.Define Governance Structure and Responsibilities Highest administrative body: The roles, decision-making authority and areas of supervision of the highest administrative body are clearly defined. Representation Roles: Defines the roles of each elected representative (undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and non-faculty staff) and the input or voting power they have. 2. She set up election processes for each group Student Representation: Separate elections for undergraduate students may be administered by the students or an election committee. Faculty Representation: Faculty can vote for representatives within their departments or schools to ensure all academic areas are represented. Staff Representation: Non-faculty staff must have a clear path to representation through elections overseen by an appointed committee. 3 .Communication and Accountability Representatives should regularly communicate with their constituencies to gather input and report back on decisions. Develop accountability measures, such as periodic reviews or feedback mechanisms, to ensure representatives are meeting their responsibilities. 16.2.2 Students’UNION Recognise an independent students’ union   YES ; Establishing and recognizing an independent student union at the University of Khenchela , Recognizing an independent students’ union can strengthen student representation, foster a sense of community, and promote advocacy, ultimately enhancing the student experience at the University of Khenchela. This is through : _ Define the Purpose and Role of the Students’ Union _ Establish a Legal and Organizational Framework _ Set Up Election Processes for Union Leadership _ Secure Funding and Resources _ nsure Accountability and Transparency Union provides governance input to university Yes ;To facilitate effective governance input from the Student Union at the University, the following framework has been adopted: _ Formal Representation on Governance Bodies _ Defined Consultation and Advisory Role _ Structured Communication and Regular Meetings _ ransparency and Accountability _ Support for Constructive Collaboration Union provides support for students Yes : The Student Union actively supports students and can focus on providing a range of services, resources and advocacy efforts tailored to meet a need by: _ Advocacy and Representation : Voice on Student Issues: Advocate for student interests in university decision-making, ensuring student perspectives are considered in policies impacting academic life, campus facilities, and student rights. Support for Marginalized Groups: Establish dedicated support for marginalized and underrepresented students, including international students, students with disabilities, and first-generation students. Union provides social activities    NO 16.2.3      NO Identify and engage with local stakeholders Have written policies and procedures to identify local stakeholdersexternal to the university and engage with them 16.2.4             N0  Participatory bodies for stakeholder engagement Ensure that local stakeholders in the university – including local residents, local government, and civil society representativels (which may include groups such as refugee resettlement agencies) – have a meaningful mechanism or for participating in university decision making. 16.2.5     University principles on corruption and bribery Publish the university’s principles and commitments on organized crime, corruption & bribery   YES : In order to effectively address issues of organized crime, corruption and bribery, the University of Khenchela is working to establish and disseminate a clear set of principles and commitments. This helps build a culture of integrity, transparency and accountability throughout the organization. The following is an overview of how these principles are presented:    Zero Tolerance for Corruption and Bribery- Commitment to Integrity and Ethical Conduct- Transparency in University Operations- Education and Awareness Programs- Commitment to Academic Integrity- 16.2.6   Academic freedom policy Have a policy on supporting academic freedom (freedom to choose areas of research and to speak and teach publicly about the area of their research) Yes :  The academic freedom policy at the University of Khenchela helps foster an open, innovative and intellectually vibrant environment. This policy would protect the rights of faculty members, researchers, and students to explore, discuss, and disseminate knowledge without fear of censorship or retaliation. The approved structure of this policy is as follows: _ Defining the scope of academic freedom _ Institutional Support for Academic Freedom _ Responsibilities Alongside Academic Freedom _ Freedom to Publish and Disseminate Research 16.2.7    Publish financial data Publish university financial data Yes : In order to maintain transparency and accountability, the University of Khenchela is implementing a policy to publish financial statements regularly. This policy details publicly available financial information and creates a clear reporting process   16.3Working with government   16.3.1Provide expert advice to government Provide specific expert advice to local, regional or national government (for example through policy guidance, participation in committees, provision of evidence) Yes : To leverage its academic expertise and contribute to the public good, the University of Khenchela was able to create a framework to provide expert advice to government bodies at the local, regional and national levels. This policy sets out how the University can support government decision-making through knowledge sharing, research and engagement in advisory roles. 16.3.2 Policy- and lawmakers outreach and education Provide outreach, general education, upskilling and capacity-building to policy and lawmakers on relevant topics including economics, law, technology, migration and displacement, and climate change Yes : To promote informed policy making and support the continuous development of legislators, the University of Khenchela has developed a communication and education policy aimed at improving the skills and building capacity of policymakers and legislators. This initiative focuses on providing important knowledge and insights on pressing issues such as economics, law, technology, migration, displacement and climate change. 16.3.3 Participation in government research Undertake policy-focused research in collaboration with government departments Yes : To enhance its contribution to Policy making and foster strong relationships with government bodies, the University of Khenchela was able to establish a policy for participation in government research.
