Announcement of nominations for the Chinguetti Prize 2026 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that the Islamic Republic of Mauritania has opened nominations for the 2026 Chinguetti Prize, to be held in Nouakchott, to honor outstanding researchers in the following fields: Islamic Studies Science and Technology Literature and Arts. The deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2026, and the results will be announced no later than October 31, 2026. Prize amount for each category: Five million old Mauritanian ouguiya An honorary certificate and a medal Eligibility criteria: Open to Mauritanian and foreign researchers, higher education institutions, scientific research centers, and cultural associations. Submitted works must demonstrate creative excellence and scholarly merit in their respective fields. Conditions: The work must not have been published or presented more than three years ago. The candidate must not have previously received the award. Application File Components: A signed application from the candidate specifying the field in which they are applying. Announcement to PhD students of the 2024/2025 cohort regarding a standardized national final examination. The Vice-Rectorate for Higher Education in the Third Cycle, University Accreditation, Scientific Research, and Postgraduate Studies informs doctoral students of the 2024/2025 cohort that a national standardized final exam for the course “Fundamentals and Techniques of Programming” (FTP) will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This exam, for both the Technical Sciences and Humanities fields, will take place in person for all students and will be administered in paper format (not online). The exam will last exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering the three compulsory modules for each field (ST, HSS, etc.). Third-cycle students are reminded that the final exam constitutes 20% (20 points) of the overall course grade. Students are required to obtain 70 points to pass the course (50 points for practical workshops, 30 points for mini-projects, and 20 points for the final exam). (For the subject). Announcement of the opening of nominations for the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prize for Research in the Life Sciences, 10th edition – 2026 The entire university and research community is hereby notified of the call for nominations for the 10th edition of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prize for Research in the Life Sciences. This prize was established by the UNESCO Executive Board to recognize scientific projects and activities undertaken by individuals, institutions, or non-governmental organizations that contribute to the advancement of scientific research in the life sciences. Prize Value: The total prize value is US$300,000, awarded to a maximum of three (3) winners, to be divided among them. نظمت يوم امس 04 مارس 2026؛ جامـعة عبـاس لغـرور خنشلة، تحت إشراف السيد مدير الجامعة البروفيسور عبد الواحـد شـالـة، ثـلاث_ورشـات_تـكـوينـيـة حـول: مشاريع_البحث_الدولية لفائدة الأساتذة ضمن مختلف الهيئات العلمية والمخابر البحثية. تهدف هذه الورشات إلى تمكين الأساتذة من التعرف على سبل إعداد مشاريع البحث الدولية، والإطلاع على برامج التمويل والشراكات البحثية الأوروبية والدوليـة، مـع الاستفادة من خبرة أساتذة لهم تجربة في هذا المجال، وقد شملت: الورشة الأولى عرض تفصيلي لبرنامج ARICA وآليات المشاركة فيه من تأطير الأستاذة هادية يحياوي – جامعة خنشلة. الورشة الثانية تأطير الأستاذ بومعراف بلقاسم – جامعة بسكرة؛ أين ركز خلالها على برنامج PRIMA وخطوات إعداد مشاريع بحثية مشتركة على المستوى الدولي. الورشة الثالثة غطت برنامجي CBHE وHorizon Europe؛ من تأطير الأستاذ سفيان بودالية – جامعة قالمة، مع شرح كيفية البحث عن شركاء ومصادر تمويل لمشاريع بحثية دولية. شهدت الورشـات حضـورا نوعـيا لأسـاتذة الجـامعـة، وعرفت تفاعلا ونقاشات أثرت الموضوع مما يعكس حرص الأسرة الجامعية على الانخراط الفعال في المشاريع البحثية الدولية وتعزيز حضور الجامعة على المستوى الدولي....اقرأ أكثر
