An awareness-raising study day under the slogan: Safe products, confident consumers.

On the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day, March 15, 2026, the Directorate of Commerce of Khenchela Province, in coordination with Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela and several local partners, organized an awareness-raising seminar under the slogan “Safe Products, Confident Consumers.” The event included an awareness exhibition with the participation of public administrations, university professors and students, trainees, and economic operators, as well as a children’s theatrical performance entitled “A Child’s Recipe.” The seminar featured several presentations addressing various topics related to consumer rights, monitoring mechanisms, the importance of media in consumer awareness, and the health risks of unsafe products. Training workshops on international research projects

On March 4, 2026, Abbes Laghrour University  Khenchela, under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Abdelouahed Challa, organized three training workshops on international research projects for professors from various scientific bodies and research laboratories. These workshops aimed to enable professors to learn about preparing international research projects and to become familiar with European and international funding programs and research partnerships. They also benefited from the expertise of professors with experience in this field. The workshops included: The first workshop, led by Professor Hadia Yahiaoui from Khenchela University, provided a detailed presentation on the ARICA program and its participation mechanisms. The second workshop, led by Professor Boumaaraf Belkacem from Biskra University, focused on the PRIMA program and the steps involved in preparing joint international research projects.
