The Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction Council Award 2026 is now open for nominations.


The Vice-Rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, Promotion, Communication, and Scientific Events informs all scientific bodies, research professors, and final-year architecture students of the opening of nominations for the Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction Council Award 2026, launched by the League of Arab States.
This year’s award focuses on the theme:
“The Role of Sustainable Architecture in Enhancing the Quality of Life in Arab Cities.”
All interested parties are invited to consult the application guide and participation form available on the website of the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning, and Urban Development.
Eligible categories:

Natural or legal persons implementing housing and residential projects, particularly:

  • Architects
  • Consulting firms in the public, private, or joint sectors (individually or collectively)
  • Organizations, bodies, or institutions in the public, private, or joint sectors
  • Non-governmental organizations and civil society organizations
  • Academic institutions and universities Research centers
  • Individuals who have a direct or indirect impact, achievements, or contributions to the development of architecture and housing
  • Engineering firms, research teams, and community initiatives
  • Final-year students in university architecture departments are also eligible to participate, encouraging innovation. The nominated project must be a graduation project or a final academic project directly related to the award’s theme.

Applications and projects must be submitted exclusively through the dedicated digital platform by
July 25, 2026.
