National Coordination Committee for Monitoring Innovation and University Business Incubators Launch of the National Challenge “ProtoMarket” to Support the Transformation of Prototypes into Marketable Products The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is launching the largest national challenge, “ProtoMarket”; aiming to enable university students to develop their prototypes and transform them into products with market readiness. Target Audience: Students and graduates from higher education institutions who have obtained a label for an innovative project. Advantages of Participating in the Challenge: Direct accompaniment and mentoring for innovative projects. Development of prototypes and their transformation into marketable products. Financial funding of up to 100 million centimes, which may increase to 200 million centimes in exceptional cases, according to the criteria of the national selection committee. Participation Conditions: Obtain a hosting certificate issued by a labeled university business incubator. The innovative project must hold a valid label (for a period not exceeding two years). Timeline: Start of registrations via the digital platform: September 30, 2025 Registration deadline: October 06, 2025 Challenge Stages: The National Coordination Committee for Monitoring Innovation, University Entrepreneurship, and Interfaces, through its regional committees, will undertake the initial selection of projects during the period of October 11-12, 2025. Regional selection reports will be submitted to the National Committee on October 14, 2025. A mixed national committee of experts will be formed to select the qualified projects in the final stage. Announcement of final results: October 19, 2025. Important Notes: The awarded university business incubators will oversee the funding process for prototype development until the stage of market readiness, with an amount not exceeding 100 million centimes.
