National Forum: Challenges Facing Urban Families in Light of Modern Technology

The challenges facing the urban family in the age of modern technology were the focus of a national symposium organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities on April 21, 2026, under the supervision of the Dean and chaired by Dr. Amna Bouden.

The symposium saw the participation of a distinguished group of professors and researchers from various universities across the country, who explored the topic from multiple perspectives within scientific frameworks that examined the impact of digital transformations on the structure of the urban family, its communication patterns, and the repercussions of intensive technology use on values ​​and social relationships.

The symposium also provided a platform for academic discussion and the exchange of views on adapting to these rapid changes, as well as proposing practical mechanisms to strengthen family balance in the digital environment, thereby ensuring the preservation of family cohesion and its role in society.
